Happy Easter!!!

So yesterday I told you I was thankful for Jesus dying for me and so today I wanted to take it a little lighter and talk about the Easter Bunny!!! Every year we go my visit my grandma and I make these little bunny shaped notes for the girls to find in the morning. The notes have clues as to wear there basket was placed by the Easter bunny.

They typically goes something like this:

"Happy Easter K! I put your basket in here but was afraid the dog would get it so I moved it into the bathroom. "

Then they go look for the next note and that would say " Im so sorry! I thought it might get wet in here so I moved it into the closet."

Then when they get there it would say " PE YEW! Your daddys shoes were too smelly to keep in here so I moved it to the car."

You get the point! Anways, that is one of our little traditions! They absolutely LOVE hunting them down and then redoing the hunt later. Also, my grandparents own a campgrounds so we get to hide easter eggs all over and it is just really fun for the girls!

I would love to hear some of your traditions!!!

So fun! We do something similar. Some years we have just hid them for the kids to find and others we will have notes for a treasure hunt type thing too. They love it.

And yeah, I spend way too much time blogging myself. :) It's so fun!

how cute. and also your grandparents own a campground? how interesting and fun for you!
traditions. . . hmm.
im 23 and my mom still has me search for eggs around the house.
i begrudgingly do so because she fills them with anything from quarters to $5bills so i get about $20 out of it.
and she gets to watch me pretend to be a kid again.
i think we both get something out of it :)

I miss having little ones during the holidays. So fun. Stopping by from Friday Follow. We still have egg hunts, but the boys are all grown now, they tolerate me ;)

We still have the hunt even though my boys are 19, 17 and 12! I miss the old days when they were younger at Easter.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

That sounds like fun! My girls mostly look forward to wearing their new dresses to church and the big Easter egg hunt at the in-laws. :)

That sounds like a lot of fun! At work, I try to avoid telling our patients and their parents to have a good Easter because I'm never sure whether or not they celebrate it. For whatever reason yesterday, I decided to say it to the last mom of the day. Of course, they were Jewish! The mom was nice though and asked what I had planned for Easter. Without thinking, (I was already thrown off from my little faux pas) I told her that we'll probably just eat some ham.
Thank goodness it was the end of the day! Clearly, my brain had already checked out for the weekend! :p
