Bully Schmully

What do you do if the little girl next door is a wench? My daughter is the sweetest, most sensitive little girl ive ever known and this little girl is total bbeeyyootcch to her! It makes me sad!

K literally sits and waits for her to get off her bus at 4 so that she can play with her. The other day, neighbor girl got of and K really excitedly said "Hey friend, do you want to come over and play?" and girl yelled for all other neighbors to hear, "No, I hate you and im never playing with you again," to which her brother replied, " Dont worry, Ill make her play with you."

My little girl responded, " Ok thanks!" just like it was no big thing! What do you do when this happens? Do you jump in and throw some elbows? Talk to her parents? Smack a bitch down? I dont know but it just breaks my heart to see her get treated this way....

"Smack a bitch down"??? I laughed out loud! I'm afraid I AM that parent that steps in, so maybe I'm not the best one to give advice. I would probably talk to precious little K and explain that some little kids are just plain mean and have no manners. I would probably also say something to the little girl like, "Wow! That's not nice!" Then I would help her find other griends who aren't spoiled little brats. HOPEFULLY I wouldn't do what I would REALLY wanna do...and that is grab her by the hair and make her apologize to K. Poor little K. I just want to give her a hug!

EEW!!! What a wench! I don't have kids, so I really don't know what to tell you to do. That is terrible, though. I'd probably talk to your daughter and tell her she doesn't want to play with her!

hahah awww what a little beyotch!
seriously love that word.
makes me sad to hear about that though because we can all relate.
unless im the only dweeb out there lol.
also, kids are so innocent,
the fact that your daughter responded with "ok" to the fact that the brother said hed make the girl play with her, awww that just tugged my heart strings & made me smile. so sweet & funny & a bit sad.
kids are great.
hope it works out for your daughter & not the beyotch. lol

At least your daughter's not taking offense to it, but that does suck. Following you through Friday Follow.

You are too funny!!! I think we might be one in the same person!!! My first reaction would be to smack a bitch down. Otherwise I would probably be that person that definitely steps in and says something to the parents.
I would just encourage K to do her own thing and not play with the little beeoootch!!!

Haha - "wench"! Makes her sound like a British barmaid.

My daughter went though the same thing with a little neighbor bitch. Now that we've moved away, she still refers to the girl as "her worst enemy". Cracks me up. Everybody needs a nemesis, I guess.

Girls are mean, some more than others. It sounds like your lil girl handled it very well....that is awesome!
Maybe the girl next door had a really bad day at school, maybe her mom yells like that and she learned it from her? I think the best we can do as parents is teach our children how to handle situations of all kinds. And maybe a dirty look to the bratty girl....

Thanks so much for your comment today and for following. As far as advice, you know your girl has got to learn. More power to her that little girl crap like that rolls off her back. Just think about when she gets into middle school! Pretty sure you don't want her weaping into your arms and waiting for you to step in every 2 seconds those little girls decide to get mad about something. But hey, what do I know? I raise boys : )!

Why are little girls so mean? My daughter had a huge issue with one of the girls that rode the bus with her. I couldn't stand seeing her cry every day about the mean girl, so she doesn't ride the bus anymore.

Ooo, that makes me so mad! Whatever happened to nice? I mean really! Not to be tacky (still don't know if pasting a link in a comment is tacky to to), but I had a similar experience http://mommyfriend.com/2010/02/28/mama-bear.aspx

"Smack a bitch down" was my fav part. Haha, I just saw that was Mandy P's fav part too.

I'm prepared to take the meanies down, it's what we have to do sometimes.

New follower here... But I have to say that makes me sad for little K. So glad that my little one is too young for that but I'm sure my day is coming. I think that I would have to just talk to K and let her know that it's the other girls loss and that sometimes you don't have to associate with others but to always be friendly when you have to see her. If that doesn't work, I would talk to the girls parents. They might not be aware of her behaviors (though it sounds like the brother is used to). hmmm.

Kids can be so mean, it is unreal sometimes. You daughters are so adorable, I can't imagine anyone wanting to be that mean to them. I am a new follower from Friday Follow, look forward to reading more of your great blog. Have a great weekend!
